Fitocose - Vanilla Scented Water

I know..I've been missing for a while! But I'm back, tired and sleepy but here...although this will be a short(ish) review because i REALLY need to sleep!

Onto serious stuff!

I love perfumes...I really do...

Or at least I used to.

Thing is, I can't wear them anymore because of my allergies; the alcohol in particular irritates the hell out of me and gives me migrains. So what's a girl to do?

I started my search for "scented waters", lighter perfumes which don't linger as much and tend to fade very quickly. I know the fading is a turn off for most of you but I really don't like a scent which starts off strongly and stays strong for the whole day...nightmare!

Unfortunately, most scented waters contain.....you guessed it, alcohol. So they're really just lighter perfumes...which annoy me just as much as the "real" perfumes. 

That is, until I came across Fitocose....

Fitocose is a small brand which only uses biological ingredients for makeup, skincare and perfumes. I absolutely ADORE it as everything they sell is completely natural and contains only substances which are good for the skin; no parabens, no silicons, just good things! The image is not mine, it's taken from the website. The vanilla bottle is identical.

Lo so, sono sparita per un po (causa esami!). Ma sono tornata, anche se ho proprio bisogno di dormire, quindi questa sarà una review non troppo lunga!
Parliamo di cose serie...Io adoro i profumi, davvero! 
O almeno...li adoravo! 

Il fatto è che non posso più indossarli a causa di allergie; in particolare l'alcool mi irrita da morire e mi fa venire mal di testa. E così ho iniziato la mia ricerca di "acque profumte", in teoria più leggere dei profumi; hanno una durata minore e so che questo può essere un aspetto di negativo per molte di voi, ma io odio profumi che rimangono lì tutto il giorno insistentemente! Un incubo!
Sfortunatamente, la maggiorparte delle acque profumate contiene...avete indovinato, l'alcool! Quindi in realtà sono simili ai profumi, semplicemente più leggere, ma mi danno egualmente fastidio!
E poi ho scoperto Fitocose...una piccola azienda i cui prodotti sono formulati esclusivamente utilizzando ingredienti biologici...adoro moltissimi dei loro prodotti, sono formulati davvero bene, senza nè siliconi nè parabeni. 

The Facts

This is an alcohol free formulation for vanilla scented water. It's based on aloe gel, with no trace of alcohol whatsoever. It comes in a cute opaque glass bottle. The perfume is actually a cute shade of yellow, which simply comes from the vanilla's natural colour. Long story short, I love this! It's the only perfume I can wear (and I hate this, but I'm SO happy I found a good replacement). It smells of pastry cream and it's absolutely delicious. It's very foody but because it's not longlasting or overpowering I find it fantastic and I think it can work in any season.
The fact that it isn't really longlasting will definitely be a con for most people but I love the barley-there scent at the end of the day...sometimes I just sniff my wrists just to smell the lovely cake-pastry-cookie scent! I sound like a total addict!

Si tratta di una formulazione a base di gel d'aloe e non alcool. La bottiglia è proprio carina; è di vetro opaco e si intravede l'acqua alla vaniglia che ha una colorazione giallo crema. Per farla breve, mi sono innamorata! Purtroppo è uno dei pochissimi profumi che posso indossare (e odio questo fatto, però sono troppo felice di avere trovato qualcosa che posso mettere!!). Ha un odore di crema pasticcera...quando esco di casa so di pasticcino! Trovo che sia perfetta per qualsiasi stagione proprio per il fatto che è così leggera...a fine giornata la sento ancora ma in modo delicatissimo!

The glass bottle is very hygenic and it's just oh so pretty! Another plus is the price: 13€ approximately; if you buy it directly from the site it's even less, only about 9! But shipping takes quite a lot of time and it's only free if you spend more than 50€...
And it's not the usual 30 or 50 ml bottle...it's 100 ml! Although, because it's so light, I need to spray it about 5 or 6 times so I can see a bottle lasting me about 6 months...I got mine in october and it's about one third gone.

La bottiglia di vetro è anche molto igienica ed è davvero carina! Un'altro più è il prezzo: circa 13€; se lo acquistate direttamente dal sito costa anche meno, circa 9€! Ma Fitocose ha dei tempi di spedizione lentissimi ed inoltre la spedizione è gratis solo con ordini sopra i 50€.
E non si tratta della solita bottiglia da 30 o 50 ml...ce ne sono addirittura 100! Ma, a causa della sua delicatezza, lo spruzzo almeno 5 o 6 volte di mattina quindi non penso che la bottiglia mi duri più di 6 o 7 mesi...
Ho acquistato la mia a metà ottobre e ne ho usato circa un terzo. 


In conclusion...


Pros:

• No alcohol (Niente alcool!) 
• Made from biological ingredients (Ingredienti biologici)
• Cheap (Economica!)
• Cute packaging! (Packaging davvero carino!)
• Delicate but delicious scent! (Profumo delizioso!)

Cons:

• Fades quickly (Dura poco)

Final Verdict

Ease of use: 4/4 (But, this really makes no sense...I mean...it's pretty straightforward to SPRAY  a perfume right??)

Overall: 30/30 (A*)!!!!
