Lush Honeytrap (Gustami!) and None Of Your Beeswax (Usami!)

Ah, Lush! I SO wanted to love you...but here's the thing. Everytime I enter a Lush shop I honestly think I'm going to die because of the overpowering smells.
But I was so attracted to Lush lip balms that I really wanted to try them...did these pass the test?

The Facts

I tried two: Honeytrap and None of Your Beeswax. I absolutely adore the packaging, it's just so cute (but not really hygienic).  The first one I bought was Honeytrap. It had a great smell in the shop...but I realized later that because there is such a huge mix of smells in Lush shops, it wasn't the real smell. So when I went out and tried it...the horror! It smells absolutely disgusting to me. It's supposed to smell like honey and vanilla but it doesn't really...I can't smell the honey at all. What I can smell is a sort of chocolate-minty-gone bad scent. It was so disgusting in fact that I can't even tell you if it's mosturizing or not because I only tried it for about an hour and then in the bin it went. That's how much I hated it.

Ne ho provati due: Gustami e Usami. Adoro la confezione, è troppo carina (ma non molto igienica). Il primo che ho provato è Gustami. Aveva un odore buono in negozio...ma poi, una volta uscita mi sono accorta che non era l'odore reale (perché nel negozio non riuscivo a distinguerlo da tutto il resto). Orrore!! Per me ha un odore assolutamente disgustoso...dovrebbe profumare di vaniglia  e miele ma io non sento nessuno dei due. Sento invece un po' di menta-cioccolato bianco andato a male...per me davvero terribile, tant'è che l'ho buttato subito quindi non so neanche dirvi se è idratante o meno.

I was really mad at that point so I went straight back to the shop and bought None Of Your Beeswax.  Now this one (thankfully) I actually like. It smells like "tenerezze al limone", lemon flavoured cookies which we have here in Italy. It's moisturizing and the smell isn't overpowering. It lasts for about 5 hours on me which is a good time. One thing i've noticed: it's an absolutely FANTASTIC lipstick base, I love it! On me it actually makes my lipstick last at least one or sometimes two hours longer (I have no idea how!).

Regarding price, it's not exactly cheap for a lip balm: about 7€ for 10 grams.

Ero davvero delusa...quindi sono tornata subito dopo da Lush ed ho comprato Usami. Questo (per fortuna) mi piace; profuma di tenerezze al limone!! Il profumo non è esagerato ed è idratante. Ho notato che è una base rossetto FANTASTICA!! Il rossetto mi dura almeno una o due ore in più quando uso questo burrocacao come base. Promosso!

Per quanto riguarda il prezzo, non è proprio economico: circa 7€ per 10 grammi.

In conclusion

Pros:

• Moisturizing (idratante)
• Cute packaging (bella confezione)

Cons:

• You might not like the scent (potrebbe non piacere l'odore)
• Unhygienic packaging (confezione non igienica)

It really comes down to whether you like the scent or you don't really. Not much else can be said! The ingredients are great quality but for me...definitely not my favourite lip balm!

Alla fine dipende se vi piace il profumo o meno, non c'è molto altro da dire. Gli ingredienti sono di ottima qualità ma per me...sicuramente non sono i miei balsami labbra preferiti!
